So, well, when I originally got it done, so I've lost a bunch of weight and had four kids, so and I had all of this loose skin, like I did the hard work to lose the weight and I still wasn't happy and comfortable. Like I would didn't want to ride on my husband naked because I bend over and there's just skin. You know, he don't care, but it's like it's a me thing. So, and I figured if I'm gonna go ahead and take the time and build all this muscle and lose all this weight, I mean, this is the last thing, and there's physically nothing I can do about it. So I obviously didn't know what I was doing and I didn't do much research. I mean, I did a little bit, but like not on the doctor, you know. So basically, he botched me horribly, like it's so bad. To the point, like before I had to pull my leggings, you know, up high over my loose skin. Now I had to pull them even higher because it was I was fucked up all the way to above my belly button.

So I like got on the phone and was crying to my dad, like a toddler, and he paid for it. That's amazing.

So you you you did your research and you contacted like Dr. Miami's office, and how how's that process work? Because he's a celebrity, right? Like in my mind, he's Yeah, and he gets shit on a lot in our plastic surgery groups, which is crazy to me. Interesting. Because yeah. I've never heard that. Is he was he actually on TV or something? Okay, yeah, that's how we know him.

Okay, so you did your research, you landed on him. Yeah, tell us what happened from that point.

Well, like I had a consultation with a bunch of few surgeons, a bunch of different surgeons this time, so I could get, and like some of them were telling me I need something else done, which is way more than I know, like a whole ass vertical scar, like, no, I don't need any of that. So it was like, it took me a bunch of consultations to get to him, and he was just so nice. I was on the consultation physically with him, and it wasn't like before I would send pictures and they're like, Okay, well, doctor approved you for this. Like, I want to speak to you. Yeah, you know what I mean? Yeah, so he physically called me.

How long did that wait happen? Like, how long was that wait?

Probably like three days. You're kidding me. Yeah, that I mean, show. And I hit him up for a promo and was like 50% off if I booked by this date. And I said, Okay, didn't think anything about it. I missed his birthday because I was in Florida and I was just like, Yes, this one. Wow. Like, as soon as possible, please and thank you.

Okay, so you have your your consultation with him, yeah, and you guys connected, obviously. And then once once he proved he's like, Yep, you're a candidate for my my practice. What was that scheduling time frame? What was it two months later, a month later?

Yeah, it was literally like instant. And I remember you told me that they they made you quit smoking ahead of time, right?

Yeah, literally exactly six weeks. Okay consultation was six weeks to the day. So yeah, it wasn't two months, it was six weeks.

Like, are you sure people say that? I said, I want this surgery more than I want a cigarette. Yeah, I'm a grown-ass adult, I can stop smoking. You know what I mean? She okay, that's not fair because people can't. Okay, I take that back. That was rude. Well, no, but but you're right. For surgery, yes, is what I mean. Yes, exactly.

And that's like you quit smoking to have babies too. Exactly. I mean, you know, yeah, people do. So, what did you have done? What did you have redone? My tummy tucked. And that was it?

Like you know, the reason love handles is the last go in belly fat, that's visceral fat, and those are the coldest spots on your body. So it's a low-hanging fruit thing, is the easiest way to look at it. Your body, that's why your face leans out first, because it's the hottest spot on your body. So the colder spots on your body are the spots you don't lose fat, and even now I'm 15 years later, like seeing muscles on my lower back, like, oh shit, that was just visceral fat from 30 years ago that is only now being coming off. Yes, after that's what I mean. Like, never don't do the bulk, bulk lean, bulk lean. Don't do that because like you're never gonna get that deep fat, you know what I mean?
